The response to the Bowling and Pizza night scheduled for the evening of Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Rockaway Bowling Lanes has been overwhelming. Originally we arranged for 6 lanes to cover 24 bowlers. As of now we have 44 bowlers who have signed up! In response, Rockaway Lanes has set aside all free lanes for us. As of now we have 12 lanes for our club outing. The remaining lanes have been reserved for a bowling league.

Ticket sales are starting to add up for our movie premiere for “Snow Gods” scheduled for November 4, 2006. Both club members and non-members may now purchase tickets with the online secure PayPal shopping cart I set up. Our very own president, Glenn Desantis, purchased tickets online for his family. The cart is easy and convenient to use. Some of the organizers have voiced a concern that we may sell all the available tickets and not have any left for our own members. There is a strong possibility that may happen. Already non-members are purchasing tickets in advance. The tickets are only $5.00 each. A bargain for a family movie on snow sports!
