Meathead Films Movie Premiere

A fun night had by all! The Meatheads movie premiere of Snow Gods was a success. A lot of time, preparation and rattled nerves had brought this event to a great afternoon and evening for the Craigmeur Ski Club. The event that had started with setup at noon and then ended with clean up at 10 pm had been highlighted by a fine group of vendors, supporters with a huge amount of door prizes and The Meatheads producers and cinematographers: Geoff McDonald and Christopher James. By the way, they arrived in their signature Meat Wagon: Subaru Outback (one of their official sponsors), See Photos.

Then vendors that were present for our shows were as follows: Pelican Ski Shops, Stowe resort, Snow East Magazine, Liz Holste: Author of Skiing in New Jersey, Bill Thistle of Performance Alignment Systems and Geoff and Chris from Meathead Films. For a first time event of this magnitude, we left no stone unturned. We had professional video and sound production from our own Bill Siudmak of Backstage Productions to the refreshment stand with fresh popped popcorn manned by our own Joey DeSantis. The list of door prizes went on to include from: Meathead Films-ski apparel, DVD’s, gift cards, magazine subscriptions, water bottles, Lift tickets from: Blue Mountain, Moonlight Basin Montana, Windham Mountain, Loon – Waterville Valley, Pico Ski Area, Stowe Ski Area, Pelican Ski Shop, Hunter Mountain, Ascutney Mountain Resort and Sunday River.2 stays at the Craigmeur Ski Lodge donated by Craigmeur Ski Club, Ski and Snowboard rentals from Pelican Ski Shop, Gift certificates from Heino’s Ski and Cycle and the ESPN Zone in Manhattan, A signed copy of the book:” Skiing in New Jersey” by Author: Liz Holste, Apparel from Vail Skiing Corp. and Smuggler’s Notch ski area, Sportlegs Dietary supplements from Bill Thistle and Performance Alignment Systems.

Geoff and Chris from Meathead films were very impressed with the event and said it was one of the better representations that they have seen for a small venue like ours. All in all it is all about HAVING FUN!! In which Craigmeur seems to be pretty good at. Gratitude and thanks go out to all the members of the club that assisted in this special event. Please see all the photos of this great event.

Bill Siudmak, member of Craigmeur Ski Club and President of Backstage Media, LLC, should get many accolades for his contribution. Backstage Productions is available for professional video and audio presentations for events.. Thanks to Bill’s generosity the club was able to put on a production that had no rivals. I personally watched Bill electronically tweak the sound system for the acoustics of the room we showed the movie in. The President and Vice-President of Meathead Films, Geoff McDonald and Christopher James, both commented that the sound for the movie “Snow Gods” was the best they had ever heard.
