Take in the fall foliage on this leisure Lehigh Canal rail to trail ride from Easton PA out about 8 miles and back along the Lehigh Canal.  The ride will begin at the Genesis Bike Shop just off the highway in Easton at 9:30 am (directions will follow).  We ask everyone to try to car pool as the parking is tight.  It takes about 1.25 hours to get there and the ride will leave at 10am sharp.  Those who want to follow us, meet your carpool or leave your car, we ask that you arrive at our house in time to leave at 8:00 sharp.

This is family friendly ride but the first ¼ mile is on city streets.  We’ll ride for a few hours and afterwards you can choose to have lunch at a number of really cool places within walking distance from our cars in the historic town of Easton.  Everyone is on their own for lunch. We ate at Pearly Bakers Alehouse, a historical building built in 1869, which was great.

One Response to “September 22, 2012 Fall Bike Ride”

THANK YOU LEE AND ABBY! This was a spectacular ride. You two did a great job organizing and leading this ride. To top things off, the weather was perfect and the company great. Funny, we even found a restaurant with Long Trail umbrellas at the end. Bravo!
