Take in the colorful fall foliage on this family friendly leisure Lehigh Canal rail to trail ride.  We will travel from Easton PA about 8 miles out and back (8 miles each way) along the Lehigh Canal.  The ride will begin at the Genesis Bike Shop (126 Bushkill St., Easton PA www.genesisbicycles.com) just off the highway in Easton at 9:30 am. We ask everyone to try to car pool as the parking is tight.  It takes about 1.25 hours to get there and the ride will leave at 10am sharp.  Those who want to follow us, meet your carpool or leave your car, we ask that you arrive at our house in time to leave at 8:00 sharp.

This is family friendly ride but the first ¼ mile is on city streets.  We’ll ride for a few hours and afterwards you can choose to have lunch at a number of really cool places within walking distance from our cars in the historic town of Easton.  Everyone is on their own for lunch.  We’ve eaten at Pearly Bakers Alehouse www.pearlybakers.net, a historical building built in 1869, which was great but the choice is yours.
