Hard to believe its that time of year again – time for the first round of reservations for the Lodge.

Reservations for 12/3 through 1/3 will be taken starting November 1st at 12:00am.  

• - Reservations will be processed to maximize occupancy at the Lodge in a first come first serve basis. 
• - Email will continue to be my preferred method for reservations.
• - Please note if your email is received prior to 12:00am you will be moved to the end of the list
• - Please also note that emailing one copy of your request is enough – if I get more than two requests with the same information your priority will be lowered

A couple of notes:

• - Open House 12/4-6 - reduced rate for members and guests
• - 12/11-13 – reduced rate for members and guests
• - 12/18-19 – reducted rates for members and guests
• - Check out the calendar for available dates – any long weekends that I know about the house being open are already posted.

There will be a lot of things to do during the Golf Week Lodge Opening (8/23 to 8/30). We just received this information from Susan Priore:

Enjoy a “throw back” event by going to the Castleton RODEO on Saturday, Aug. 29th

You don’t have to golf to enjoy this week, partial week, or just the weekend.

Vermont is GREAT in the summer!

Russ Hollister will once again be opening the Lodge for “Golf Week”.  The Lodge will be open from Saturday, August 23rd through Sunday, August 30th.  You don’t have to golf to come up that week – hikers, bikers, walkers, shoppers, nappers, sun bathers, cold water swimmers, etc… are all welcome.  Lodge reservations should be made the usual way through Kimberly.  Golf tee times are usually set up by Russ Hollister.  Summer rates are as follows:

The Lodge will be open from Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th for the first annual Pub, Grub, and Wine Tour. Jim Hollister will be House Manager for the weekend. Lodge Rates for the weekend will be $30 for club members and $40 for guests – the rate will include 2 nights lodging and 2 breakfasts. I will start taking paid reservations at the meeting on August 6 .
