Posted by Larry Ticotin, Webmaster on June 15th, 2006

The following information was provided by Michael Rachmiel:

WNRL racers and training participants- Want to improve your racing skills while enjoying a cultural experience this summer ?

FYI, we’ve been informed that there is now additional Condo space available during the period of the Summer Alpine Race Camp at El Colorado, Chile (Aug 2-15, 2006) this summer.   The camp is run by ARCS-USA, Inc. It specializes in providing International Race Camps for Juniors & masters (adults), mainly at El Colorado, Chile & Mont Tremblant, Canada.  (www.arcsusa.com)    ARCS-USA was started by yet another Mountain Creek Coach- Roy Scovill, since neither Mountain Creek nor Skylands Ski Club ran summer/fall alpine race training camps.

If you have any interest in attending, you should take advantage of this opportunity and check out the above website for more details.

NY Five Borough Bike Ride, May 6, 2006

Posted by Larry Ticotin, Webmaster on June 12th, 2006

All the members who participated in this event finished the 43 mile ride. However, the best part was the Barbeque that followed. Members set up a Barbeque just behind a barrier that was on a side street. We were able to watch other bikers pass us as we relaxed on lounge chairs supplied by other members. The barbecue was outragious. The food was great, not to mention the refreshments. I have included photos from the barbecue.

Regards,

Larry Ticotin
