NJSC VOUCHER RETURN DEADLINE IS UPON US !!

Posted by skijcb on April 29th, 2007

April 29, 2007

DEADLINE FOR NJSC VOUCHER RETURNS IS WEDNESDAY MAY 09, 2007 !!

Don’t let your 2006-2007 NJSC vouchers become worthless, turn them in for an up-grade to a 2007-2008 NJSC voucher.

You can return your un-used NJSC vouchers in person to Chris Budd on Wednesday May 02, 2007 at the Craigmeur End of Season Party at The Exchange.

If you cannot return your vouchers in person on May 02, please contact Chris Budd via email @ skijcb@hotmail.com to get the necessary mailing information to return your vouchers by the deadline.

PICO vouchers were collected and returned to NJSC on April 09, 2007 as required by the resort due to change of ownership.

Killington & Pico changed ownership in April 2007 and NJSC is waiting to hear what the new ownership’s voucher policy will be.  NJSC hopes there is little or no change in the way vouchers are purchased / used / up-graded.  More information will be shared as it becomes available.

It snowed like mad today in VT (picture all the rain we got as white stuff) – skiing is still really good and the lodge will definately be open this coming weekend 4/20-22 – last weekend we ended up with 29 people – it was great – make your reservations – get in a bit more skiing!

June 9, 2007, 9:00 AM Sharp: 3rd Annual Craigmeur Ski Club Bike Ride on the Columbia Trail (Rails to Trail). Rain or Shine! Back by popular demand!

Please join us for a bike ride on this beautiful scenic trail that starts in High Bridge, NJ. The trail is an old railroad path that has been converted into a pedestrian and bike trail. The trail is flat, hard packed fine white gravel and suitable for beginner to advance bike riders. It is recommended that you use a mountain or hybrid bike, although racing bikes can easily navigate the first half of the trail. Friends of Craigmeur Ski Club are welcome to join us. The trail is free! After the trip we will meet at the “Circa” (for food and refreshments). You may visit their web site at http://www.circa-restaurant.com– I have made arrangements for the restaurant to reserve at least two tables for us. Please mention you are with the Craigmeur Ski Club when you enter their premises.

Please click here if you would like to learn more about this easy to bike trail.

Most people will want to do at least 8 miles of this round trip since it is the most scenic part of the trail. This part goes from Highbridge to Califon’s Old train station and then back. The more adventurous or advanced riders can do 16 miles round trip. The 16 mile route will be chosen based on weather conditions.

The trail is easy to get to by car. You can get there from Chester via Rt 24 or by Route 80 in the Netcong area. Here are directions.

Columbia Trail driving directions:
Take Rt. 80 to 206 South to Rt. 24 (Chester). Turn right onto take Rt. 24 West. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NJ-24/CR-513/E MILL RD. Continue to follow CR-513. Turn RIGHT onto CR-513/CHURCH ST. Continue to follow CR-513 to Main Street. Afterwards, you will make a quick right into the municipal parking lot where we will meet. The Columbia Trail is across the street from the parking lot. Circa Restaurant is less than a block away from the parking lot and is an easy walk.

Please give yourself ample driving time to reach High Bridge. From Chester NJ, High Bridge is less than a half-hour driving time.

You may contact me via email (preferred) or via cell 973-713-9169 if you have any questions.

I will be at the following club meetings at The Exchange Restaurant, Rockaway, Nj to answer questions: 4/18,5/2,5/16,6/6

Recommend items: Water, Extra clean shirt and a towel to wipe off dust and grime, if any, before entering the restaurant.

Pico Vouchers – April 8, 2007 Return Deadline!

Posted by Larry Ticotin, Webmaster on April 1st, 2007

All PICO vouchers must be in Chris Bud’s hands by SUNDAY APRIL 08, 2007. Afterwards you will not be able to return them and they will be unusable. Sorry, no exception.

Please be aware that there is a change of ownership for Killington/Pico and this announcement should not be taken lightly.

This is a one-shot deal. The NJ Ski Council can only return 1 batch of vouchers to the mountain. Thus, we need to do everything possible to get in all of these tickets ASAP.
Please give your vouchers to Chris Bud at this Wednesdays meeting.
