Charly Toole, guest speaker, spoke to the club about strength training, conditioning and diet for skiing and other physical activities. Training can help make skiing a much more enjoyable experience and help improve stamina and minimize injuries. During the meeting Charly had us do some short exercises and strength training to illustrate his program. For more information, please visit Charly’s site: http://www.zenventures.com/
Please view the above video to hear a brief interview.
Please check the calendar often for future guest speakers.

Wow!! what a day. Once again we had another great time during one of many non-skiing activities. The weather was excellent while 26 members and friends came decked out in their cammo gear to the Paintball Depot field in West Milford NJ. Experience of players ranged from the newbie 1st timer (Roy Spierer Craigmeur VP) to the highly experienced with the top of the line automatic electronic paintball gun. Our coordinators: Bruce Stewart and Glenn DeSantis planned a great day that went off without a hitch. The group was divided into 2 teams: orange and white. Bruce unfotunately was on the opposite team of his wife Amy, and on the paintball field no marital rules apply. Our faithfull President: Glenn deSantis took a hit to the side of his neck which left a good sized welt. Don’t worry Glenn, we won’t ask questions. Injuries were minimal and are all in a day’s fun. At the end of the day, the white team was the winner. I am sure that this event will be repeated and fine tuned just like the others held throughout the year. Roy Spierer
