Craigmeur 1st Annual Paintball Outing

Posted by Roy Spierer on October 14th, 2007

Wow!! what a day. Once again we had another great time during one of many non-skiing activities. The weather was excellent while 26 members and friends came decked out in their cammo gear to the Paintball Depot field in West Milford NJ. Experience of players ranged from the newbie 1st timer (Roy Spierer Craigmeur VP) to the highly experienced with the top of the line automatic electronic paintball gun. Our coordinators: Bruce Stewart and Glenn DeSantis planned a great day that went off without a hitch. The group was divided into 2 teams: orange and white. Bruce unfotunately was on the opposite team of his wife Amy, and on the paintball field no marital rules apply. Our faithfull President: Glenn deSantis took a hit to the side of his neck which left a good sized welt. Don’t worry Glenn, we won’t ask questions. Injuries were minimal and are all in a day’s fun. At the end of the day, the white team was the winner. I am sure that this event will be repeated and fine tuned just like the others held throughout the year. Roy Spierer

NJSC – NO Killington or Pico vouchers for 2007-2008 season

Posted by skijcb on October 7th, 2007

Craigmeur Ski Club Members -

As of September 27, 2007, NJSC has been officially notified that there will be NO Killington or Pico voucher program for the 2007-2008 season.  Attached is a copy of the official letter received from Killington ownership.  NJSC 2007 Killington voucher info

Vouchers returned from the 2006-2007 ski season will be up-gradable for THIS SEASON ONLY.  After 2007-2008, Killington & Pico will NOT honor any NJSC vouchers.

Craigmeur Ski Club recommends all members to begin evaluating alternating ticket purchase programs if your plans include skiiing at Killington or Pico.  The first place to begin searching is the Killington web site under group tickets.  Another alternative is the mEticket program, offering advance purchase option at a discount to point of sale pricing.

Please share any information found concerning discount Killington / Pico lift tickets with all other Craigmeur Ski Club members.
