      We are currently taking reservations for all of January and February.  Open nights and weekends are noted on the calendar above.  If you want to go on a full weekend let me know and I can place you on the waitlist. 

      One note to all Lodge guests:  We are reminding guests that there is no food or drinking (except water) in any of the bedrooms.  Parents please remind your children about this rule.  Thanks - we don't need any extra furry guests this winter :-)

      Its that time of year again!  We are now taking reservations for December 2 through January 2.  The calendar above indicates all nights that the Lodge is scheduled to be open - and an estimated number of available beds is listed if you hover over the dates.  We are offering Early Season Rates the first 2 weekends in December - at $10 off the regular weekend price.  Note that there are a lot of midweek days available.

Fall Motorcycle Ride

Fall Motorcycle Ride

Open to club members and a few friends (keep it easy to manage).  The date is Saturday October 23 with a rain date of Sunday the 24th.  If it’s a rainout both days we’ll wait for the spring!   I have finalized the route:  If you’re interested or have questions call me at 973-875-6322 or email me.

“THE” Route Has Been Decided - The route for the Oct. 23 (rain date 24th) Fall Ride has been finalized.  We will meet at the Lake Hopatcong Pathmark on Route 15 in Jefferson Township.  There is a diner and a bagel shop at this location and gas stations adjacent so you can “fuel up”.  Pre-ride briefing at 8:30 and leave at 9:00. 

We will go up Route 15 into Sparta and then head up into Vernon and go into Orange County NY.  We will go to Port Jervgis and then take NY Rt 97 along the Delaware  to Narrowsburg and cross into Pike County PA and go west towards Lake Wallenpaupack.  From there we head south to Milford and back into NJ.  To see the route, go to Google Maps and search for “m/c route A” 

Route length is about 100 miles.  We’ll take a few “stretch” breaks  and  lunch at  Lake Wallenpack ( Hawley PA).  We should be back at our start location by mid-afternoon.

Greenwood Lake Hike – October 9th

October 9th – Greenwood Lake Hike

Since last year was so much fun in inclement weather…this year should be even better!

Join us for a five mile loop hike in the N.J. Highlands to an overlook above Greenwood Lake. At 1400 ft. above sea level, most of the lake can be seen along with lots of fall color.  The trail starts off steeply but quickly levels off onto glacially scrubbed ridges. We will pass a mountain pond called Surprise Lake before arriving at the overlook where we will have lunch before heading back down skipping and laughing ( mandatory ).

We will meet at the A&P on Union Vally Rd. at 9:00 A.M.

“Pub, Grub and Wine Tour”

We will be touring some of Vermont’s best Breweries/pubs and wine vineyards and enjoying their tasting Rooms!! Itinerary Listed

1-Long Trail Brewery-Samples of six of their great beers-Free Giveaways-Private tour-a friend of mine works for Long Trail—they have a great gift shop.

2-Snow Farm Winery-Free Samples-Complimentary Souvenir Glass-Explanation of their Wines

3-Putney Mountain Winery-Free Samples-Giveaways-Organic Wine Tasting.

4. Harpoon Brewery-I have a arranged a private tour of their brewing process-we will sample beer directly from the vat-You can’t get any fresher tasting beer!! Yummy!! They have an awesome gift shop—outside seating area-Bache ball court.

Lunch will be at Fire Stone-Brew Pub-16 Great Beers on Tap-Experience Vermont’s Best Flat bread Pizza and more-all included in price.

We will also visit “Queschee Village” Something for everyone-Here!!
