Introduction

Due to popular demand the board of Craigmeur Ski Club has decide to continue summer events that were major hits last year. Last year many people were disappointed that they missed some of these events. Please continue reading this email and sign up immediately to avoid the sign-up deadline dates.
High Bridge Bike Ride - June 9, 2007

This "Free" bike ride is easy and follows a pristine trail that everyone agrees is one of the most beautiful areas of NJ. Beginners to advance riders can easily handle it. The best part of the event will follow, when we all meet to have lunch at the Circa Restaurant. Please click here for more information: http://www.craigmeurskiclub.com/archives/281

Come join us for a fun ride on the 2007 High Bridge summer bike ride on Saturday, June 9th.  Main trail conditions are great with rougher side trails for those more experienced riders.  We will be meeting at the trail head at 9am, directions can be found on the Craigmeur website. Be sure to bring water for the ride and a fresh shirt for the restaurant.

Thanks to Larry's technical prowess we plan on producing a short video reporting on the High Bridge Bike Ride. The video will be shown on http://www.craigmeurskiclub.com upon its successful completion. Don't miss out on what may turn out to be an historic event for the club. Become part of our video history!

Please let me know via EMail or phone by Friday June 1st if you plan to attend so I can provide an estimate for reservations to the restaurant.

Thanks

2nd ANNUAL CRAIGMEUR CANOE/RAFT TRIP - August 4, 2007

Last years trip turned out to be a blast. This year's repeat event is going to be even better. We are going to relax and float down the Delaware river. At the end of the trip we are going to enjoy a barbecue run by professional caterers and members of our club, Diane Bogert, Diamon Catering and Olivier Monod, Campus Foods Service.

Many people were in shock about the quality and selection of food that was served last year. They even served frozen Ice Cream! This year the cost is outragious for the event; Only $27.00 per person for the canoe/raft rental and only $10.00 for the barbecue. Members can also elect to participate in the barcue only. You can't even get dinner for that little today! Best of all this trip is open to friends of Craigmeur Ski Club. So tell your friends and enjoy.

But here is the hitch, you've got to reserve your spot before the drop dead date of July 1, 2007! By the way, many members are even planning on camping over the area. There are so many options, but most importantly, this event is going to be outrageous!

Craigmeur Ski Lodge - Golf Week - July 22nd - July 29th

The Lodge will be open (minus the snow) during July 22 to July 29, 2007. Members will be able to stay and enjoy the many golf courses in the area. Some golf courses have even been on the PGA tour! Other members may want to go biking, shopping, or even swimming in the stream behind the river.

Contact Kim Hollister to stay at the lodge.

BYOF, is optional (Bring your own fan).

Annual Clambake on Lake Shawnee

Last year included an incredible plethora of different foods brought by members.

Some of us enjoyed a slow meadering boat ride on Lake Shawnee. Others participated in a volley ball game. Many of us enjoyed the tasty steamed clams prepared by our very own members.

This year the cost is unreal, only $15.00 per person! Sign up early to reserve your spot. Because of the overwhelming popularity of this event, we need volunteers to help with this event. We also need your favorite desserts and salads. Please contact Bob Apgar at:973.627.7500 or email info (at) craigmeurskiclub.com.
