meeting date: 08 February 2016
next meeting: 14 March 2016
Rep: Chris Budd – skijcb (at) hotmail.com
This season has been very challenging weather wise for skiers and snowboarders. Motivation has been missing to get outside and enjoy the activity we love. While NJ and the mid-Atlantic region has experienced a major absence of winter weather, be reminded our lodge is 250 miles north of NJ and Vermont resorts are still open for your schussing & riding pleasure. Snow conditions are not as good as last season but fun in the snow can be found if your attitude remains positive. THINK SNOW !
When patronizing retailers / resorts / restaurants in ski country or anywhere else, remember to show your Club membership card with the NJSSC member sticker to inquire about discounts and deals. Also check the new NJSSC web site for additional point of sale discounts under the “Membership Direct” heading. http://www.njssc.org/category/membership-discounts/
Points of interest:
NJSSC membership stickers for the 2015-2016 season have been delivered to Craigmeur’s membership chairperson and will be placed on the back of your Craigmeur membership card when you renew your dues. Show this sticker to retailers / resorts / restaurants in ski country or anywhere else you patronize to let them know you are a member of NJSSC and would like to enjoy any discounts they offer to NJSSC members. http://www.njssc.org/category/membership-discounts/
Take quick look at the 2015 NJSSC mid-summer post and you will find info about three (3) NJSSC sponsored trips for the 2015-2016 season – https://www.craigmeurskiclub.com/archives/5020.
Voucher sales through Craigmeur Ski Club have been suspended as of 10 February 2016. NJSSC voucher sales are down approximately 40% from last season and Craigmeur Ski Club voucher sales are down a similar percentage.
If you need vouchers OR are looking to sell your vouchers, please come to any regular club meeting and make an announcement requesting to buy or sell vouchers. You may also submit a post request via the Craigmeur Ski Club Facebook page. Please remember prices CANNOT be published on-line or in print, therefore all price discussions should occur via phone or private email.
